Pregnancy Case Study Completed subject, objective, assessment, plan (SOAP) notes for a 25 year old pregnant female along with a complete nutritional analysis.
Hyperlipidemia Case Study Assessed a 54 year old male with multiple risk factors that included an abnormal lipid profile for cardiovascular disease. Answered case questions pertaining to nutritional factors, medications, energy expenditure, and suggested lifestyle modifications.
Nutrition Care Plan Completed an initial nutrition care plan (NCP) for a 32 year old male who was diagnosed with AIDS.
Therapeutic Cycle Menu Established a one week therapeutic cycle menu for a long term care facility. Included a 2 gram sodium restriction, cardiac, renal, and diabetic modifications. Took into consideration the seasonality, repetition, color, texture, and flavor of foods along with the variety of preparation methods.
Menu Planning Textured Modified Foods Created a menu based on the limitations of textured modified foods. Learned the stages of dysphasia associated dietary recommendations. Cost, variety, flavor, seasonality, and plate presence were all taken into consideration.
1500 Calorie ADA Self Diet Followed a medical nutrition therapy 1500 calorie diabetic diet for three days. Maintained a detailed food log and assessed the diet and restricted nutrients. Kept a journal including emotions, difficulties, and observations. Noted suggestions to make during a counseling session for clients on this diet.
