Golf: I have been playing golf ever since I was 14. Basically it took over my desire to play baseball in High School. I played varsity golf for three years as a sophomore, junior, and senior. My team and I went to state my junior year and set school records in the sectional round. Today it is one of my most passionate hobbies. Hockey: This sport I have been participating in shortly after I moved to Wisconsin at age 6. I played it all the way through high school. My team made youth A state tournaments twice as a youth finishing with consolation both times, both losing to the eventual champions. After high school I didn't give up competitive hockey, just the playing of it. I have been an official for 11 years now and still do it today, striving to take it as far up as I can. Basketball: Although one of my favorite sports I didn't play much of it competitively. I played in middle school for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade but when I got to high school it interfered with hockey so it just became another hobby and fun workout. |
Baseball: My dad and I played baseball when I was as small as 5 years of age. He coached my teams numerous times and helped me become quite the ball player. I played till I was a sophomore in high school and had to make the decision to play baseball or golf. At the time golf was just much more fun. Today I still participate in summer softball leagues and many tournaments Football: In high school I played varsity football three years and junior varsity in my freshman year. I grew up playing backyard ball with my neighborhood friends and played with many of them in high school. Lacrosse: At the university of Stevens Point I played three years of lacrosse which I picked up here at the university. My first year was my first ever playing lacrosse. But because of my athleticism and hard work I helped them almost win a conference title my second year losing to Duluth in the championship. This is quite the accomplishment considering most of my team never played before college and we beat many teams filled with kids who played most of their lives. |
