Assessment The main methods I've used to assess my students include observation and self-evaluation. These types of assessment work very well in the Music Education classroom because the expectation and evidence usually includes performing solo or as a group. This is more difficult to evaluate with paper and pencil, but more fun and successful to check through a live version of assessment.
