At our last meeing it was voted to go to the first Thursday of the month. Some members have other club meetings on the first Monday of the month. So our schedule for the next 4 months is below:

• October 2nd
• November 6th
• December 4th
• January 8th
• Banquet is tentatively schduled for April 25th, 2009

September 14th, 2008

Once again I am sorry that it takes me awhile to update the website, but as Jim said in the last email I was in China for two weeks and then I had to move in and get situated in school. I have alot of classes this year and committments to some very involved organizations so that takes up alot of my time, I am also going to be updating their sites too.

Now for the updates. The standings and pictures are now updated so check them out. It sounds like Art and the club had alot of sucessing selling boat tickets at the car show that was on the 27th of July, Art sold $389 worth of boat tickets, he had two assistants which handed him tickets when he needed more and to whipe the sweat off his brow.

Below are pictures of the only two fish that Mike Ehlers caught on the French River when he was there for two weeks in August.

Sorry about the extremely late update, I try an update the site whenever I can. The pictures and standings have been updated, check out those areas of the website for more.

The July meeting is going to be on Rib Lake, get there when you can and have some fun! Be at Camp 28 for the after party and to compare notes at dusk.

November Meeting: Motion passed to give Spirt Lake Association $100.00 for out house maintence. A gun raffle was tabled until the July meeting. There will be a joint outting on may 10th, with Consolidated Musky Club on the Wisconsin River South of Highway 10.

Meeting Dates: January 7th February 4th March 3rd April 7th April 26th, May Meeting/Awards Banquet

Outing Dates: May 10th, Wisconsin River June 3rd, Holcombe July 8th, Rib Lake August 5th, Spirit Lake

 

November 2nd, 2007

Fish were stocked in the Eau Pleine and Spirit Lakes this month by our club. More details will be presented at the meeting and in upcoming news.

Award Banquet will be at Molitor's in Abbotsford, once again. A date will be finalized after the November meeting. The Gil Hamm Chapter Challunge will be on September 24-26th at Last Resort in the Cass Lake area in Minnesota.

November's meeting will be at Happy Joe's in Medford on the 12th.

At the September meeting it was discussed that the awards banquet will be on April 26th, 2008. Also, Jerry Burcholz said that he will talk to the DNR about fish stocking. He will also try and put together a outing with Jason Schillinger which will be held at Pentwell Flowage on May of 2008. It was also discussed that the tackle raffle will now be on every other month.

September 6th, 2007

The September meeting will be on September 10th, 7 PM at Happy Joe's Medford, WI.

The August outing on Lake Alexander was uneventful with no fish cought.

Boat ticket sales should have ended at or above $1000 and raffles from the banquet added up to $525, both of these hat a lot to do with Art's hard work. Thank You Art!

July 27th, 2007

The outing will be thursday August 2nd at Lake Alexander, Merrill. Show up when you can and we will meet on the water or at the boat landing at dark.

At the outing on Rib Lake in July one 37" fish was caught by Gerry Bucholtz.

Meetings after August will be at Happy Joe's again. Dates are Monday September 10th, October 1st, and December 3rd.

All tickets/money for the boat sale should be turned in by July 29th, either at Art's house or at the boat during the car show at the city park on Sunday the 29th or you can drop them off at the post office and ask the clerk to give them to Jim.

July 5th, 2007

Outing is at Rib Lake on Thursday July 12th. Get there when you can. Art would like anyone there to meet at the island at 7 PM for a brief meeting.

Congratulations to the people that went to the Gill Hamm, Art K. caught a 30" and 40" fish, and also George L. and Gerry B. caught fish. First Wisconsins placed first.

Have a couple of nice pictures of a 46" fish from Mike E. and Art K. only our web master is living the summer at the cottage in Three Lakes and there is no internet up there by him. He has a full time job at the Northernaire Front Desk and a part time job at Watercraft where he hellps them with their website, he also participates in the local Aqua Devils Ski Club.
