I am Annalyce Strohfeldt and I am an undergraduate from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. My major is elementary education with minors in Spanish and Broadfield Science. I chose to go into education because of my love of learning and the passion I have for helping people grow.
While growing up I jumped around between what I wanted to be when I grew up, but no matter what I did being a teacher would pop back up. My teachers were one of the reasons I made it through school and became excited about learning. I want to be able to inspire students to learn and try their best.
As a teacher, I aim to influence my students in a positive manner to foster their growth and create a passion for learning. In my classroom, we will build a warm and caring atmosphere, which promotes respect for others and oneself. Students learn through new experiences and sometimes failure is involved. As a teacher, I believe that it is important to look back and learn from successes and failures. I believe that technology is a powerful tool that creates student engagement, which strengthens the content and the ways students can learn. Incorporating a variety of instructional approaches into the classroom is also essential to reach all learners and to differentiate appropriately. My personal goal is to reach a variety of learners to build upon their knowledge and create lifelong skills.
